This team and its Coach, Steve Hallas, had an amazing season. Unified sports is truly amazing. It doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Praising varsity athletes will never go away. It’s the dream of every student-athlete. It also shouldn’t be restricted to a certain group. This team and their coach just set the bar incredibly high. They deserve this recognition. “You’ve all been told we can’t at some point. Labeled, moved to areas and told what is best for you. All year long you grew and took control of that. Showed how brave and courageous you are and said we will let you know what we can do. Today you showed everyone you can do whatever you dream and you created your own label. That is CHAMPION!
