Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: Smithfield Girls Track & Field

These girls are the defending State Champions, and just finished another successful indoor season, winning the Class C Championships.
On April 14th, they will be honored by the RIIL as Team of the Year! What an amazing accomplishment!
These girls are a great group of girls and athletes and several girls on the team are headed with scholarships for college athletics including
Meagan Malloy who will be attending the University of Michigan as one of the country’s best throwers. Also deserving of
Also deserving of acknowledgement are Seniors Alyssa Colbert, Chloe Holowachuk, Cassidy Bissitt, Ireland Judge, Rohey Jobe, Miranda Sasso, Olivia Holowachuk, Fatoumatta Kebbeh, Audra Ravenelle and Lauren Cardono.
These girls deserve to be recognized for their outstanding efforts on and off the field.
