Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: West Warwick Fast Pitch Softball!
This week’s spotlight was sent in by West Warwick High School’s Athletic Director Greg Kortick:
The girls on the team, without any prompting from adults, have organized an alumni game fundraiser to raise money for the family of a freshmen in the high school who was diagnosed with leukemia.
This freshman would have been playing on the varsity fast pitch team this spring. The game is scheduled for May 25!
