St. Raphael Academy Varsity football has had an incredibly successful season, and has rightfully won their spot as our High School Team of the Week.
In addition to being 4-0 in league play, the team has banded together for their annual Crucial Catch Game to raise money for breast cancer awareness, and what a scene it was!
Cheerleaders, players and coaches displayed pink accessories. Coaches wore pink ties and white shirts, cheerleaders had pink hair ribbons and pink pom poms, players wore pink sweatbands and socks.
In addition they had a miracle minute between 3rd and 4th periods when cheerleaders sprinted into crowd and collected as many donations as they could in that one minute!
The St. Raphael Academy football team is involved greatly in various charitable activities throughout the year, making them a fantastic example of how much good one organization can do when they work together for the community.
